The FX in Planet of the Apes have come a long way. In the 60's amd 70's films the "apes" didn't look much like apes. They weren't humans but they weren't really apes either. It was as if John Chambers, the makeup artist, had created unique creatures that only exist in this universe. The Tim Burton Apes look and act more like actual apes that evolved while still looking like their primitive counterparts.

Well this version of Micheal was my favorite he isn't an immortal supernatural character . He is pure absolute disgusting evil on two feet. In this timeline I consider Micheal absolute sheer pure evil, I would have a house like Laurie's and prepare just like she did. But i would attack him with a hunting rifle probably a 30-06 because if you have seen what it can do to a deer it will damage Micheal . I see myself shooting him in the cheek with the rifle and then we get into a brutal knife fight and he ends up causing me to die and bleed out which would be the same for Laurie , then I would bow my house in fire before I die. And watch him burn like how he burned in Halloween 2. That's a good ending

The answer to your confusion about the timeline of the original series may be simpler than you think. Either Zira and Cornelius lied about how apes took over Earth to cover their tracks and knew that they would bring forth the Ape Messiah or the Sacred Scrolls rewrote ape history and made Aldo the messiah instead of Caesar which means that Zira and Cornelius probably didn't know about their destiny.
